Each of the cerebral hemispheres are divided into five lobes. These include the Frontal Lobe, the Parietal Lobe, the Temporal lobe, the Occipital Lobe, and the Insula. However, the cortical constituents of the limbic system are also considered regions of the cerebral hemispheres, they are also considered by some to be the sixth lobe of the cerebral hemispheres: the limbic lobe. From the side the cerebral hemispheres look like boxing gloves. The thumb of these "boxing gloves" is the temporal lobe. The temporal lobes is separated from the parietal lobe by a lateral fissure. The floor of this lateral fissure is formed by insula. This is. however, hidden from plain sight by the frontal, parietal, and temporal opercula (lids) regions of the same lobes. The frontal lobe is separated from the parietal lobe by the central sulcus. Sulci are generally smaller and shallower than the fissures within the cerebral hemispheres. The division beteween the parietal and occipital lobes cannot be seen from a lateral view. This is because it is defined as an imaginary line between the preoccipital notch and the parieto-occipital sulcus and the calcarine fissure.

-Cerebral hemispheres are divided into five lobes:
Frontal

Temporal
Occipital
Insula
-The limbic lobe is sometimes considered one of these lobes
-Cerebral hemispheres look like boxing gloves from the side
-A lateral fissure separates the temporal and parietal lobe
-The floor of the lateral fissure is formaed by insula
- Inslua is hidden by lid-like structures of the fronta, parietal, and temporal lobes, called opercula
-Frontal lobe is separated from the parietal lobe by central sulcus
- Sulci are smaller and shallower than the fissures in the cerebral hemispheres
-The division b/n the parietal and occipital lobes cannot be seen plainly
-This is b/c it is defined as an imaginary line

So the little dictionary thingy did not work out. I couldn't figure out how to possibly pin a post on weebly, so I kinda figured it would be pointless to have to go up and down while writing posts on the weebly site. However, it is clear to see that after I write a post about each of the individual lobes I will finally be free to move on to another part of the brain. Yay! No more cerebrum! Until then I get to stick to my little textbook on the cerebrum and find a way to organize the chart I made on the separate lobes into a paragraph and points for my next post. :)
